ABOUT

US

Hooves and Paws, Riding School, Equestrian Learning Centre was established in 2004 by Kelly Wilson and now consists of over fifty horses, 3 sheep, 1 pig, 9 hens and a cockerel. We are situated in a pituresque location on the outskirts of Stonehouse, South Lanarkshire. â€‹

Our facilities include a large indoor arena with seating and viewing gallery with ten holding stables. The indoor arena was opened in August 2006 and 35 certificates were awarded to both clients and special needs groups for achievements in Stable Management and TRSS levels. The outdoor arena contains all weather surface with flood lights and a seated viewing gallery. The tutorial room is large and bright enabling its use in conjunction with the arenas for Stable Management, Saddle Club, Pony Parties and Fun Days providing a seated area for all clients while too containing information boards to inform clients of up to date events and safety issues.

Over these years we have been working along side Social Services, Alternative to Care, Primary School with additional support units and other orgonisations and throughout this time we have developed our facilities and skills to meet the needs of these Special people who have physical, mental, emotional & social challenges to face. We have achieved great success and satisfaction in these areas.

We pride ourselves on best practice and the ethical care of our happy healthy animals whilst we are more than a riding school we are an equestrian learning center.
